Alison N. Maher joined the firm as an associate in March 2014. Alison graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology. Thereafter, she graduates cum laude from Western New England University School of Law in 2011. While in law school, Alison served as a publishing editor for the Western New England Law Review. She participated in the Western Massachusetts Legal Services Clinic representing impoverished victims of domestic violence in family law matters. Alison also interned for the Probate and Family Court and Department of Children and Families.
Following graduation, Alison practiced divorce, custody and other family law matters at a law firm in Montgomery County.
Alison is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. Alison is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Doris Jonas Freed American Inn of Court.
Alison is an advocate for her client, and has extensive experience handling both litigation and negotiation in domestic relations issues. She concentrates her practice in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child support, custody, spousal support, complex property division, domestic violence, and paternity.
Alison volunteers her time at the Women’s Resource Center, an organization that focuses on assisting women in need of guidance related to domestic violence, divorce, child support or custody related issues.
